Burn 300 Calories in 30 Minutes

A lot of personal trainers advocate that resistance training is the best way to lose fat and weight overall. I agree with that to a certain extent. I also believe a major reason why they promote this is because they are trying to sell their services to you.

In reality, some of us don’t have gyms nearby with weight rooms nor do we have weights at home, so how can we possibly incorporate weight sessions into our regime? Does that mean that we won’t lose weight at all? No, of course not!

I’m a huge advocate of cardio training for losing weight. I have always incorporated running into my weight loss routine and always maintained running as part of my daily life. I get invigorated by running and I feel that it has so many benefits for our entire body and also our mind.

I have provided some simple cardio training which you can Burn 300 Calories in 30 Minutes:

Treadmill

  • Walk at a brisk pace with the incline set to zero for 1 minute
  • Remain at same speed but raise the incline to 5% for 1 minute
  • Walk at a brisk pace with the incline set to zero for 1 minute
  • Increase your speed to a fast walk/jog/run and raise the incline to 5% for 3 minutes
  • Repeat the above cycle for 30 minutes

Bike

  • Cycle at a comfortable speed for 2 minutes
  • Increase your resistance level by 2-3 increments for 2 minutes
  • Return to your beginning speed and resistance for 2 minutes
  • Increase your resistance level to a moderate/high level for 1 Minute (this speed should be as fast as you can go)
  • Repeat the above cycle for 30 minutes
